My Disinfection Procedures 

 Please feel free to ask me any questions or let me know of any concerns you may have regarding Sanitation or Disinfection!  I am diligent with my procedures and would never put a client in harm's way. This is the major difference between a Professional Manicurist and a "Discount" Nail Tech.

Manicures

After each Manicure, towels are machine-washed and manicure table is cleaned with EPA sanitizer.  All metal implements are scrubbed in Antibacterial Soap, rinsed and placed in Let's Touch, an EPA approved disinfectant, for at least 15 minutes.  My Reusable files are also scrubbed with Antibacterial Soap, then they are spritzed with Sanitizer and put aside to dry completely.  I dispose of any items, such as nail wipes and Orangewood sticks, that are not sanitizable.

Pedicures

After your pedicure is complete, towels are machine-washed.  All metal implements are scrubbed in Antibacterial Soap, rinsed and placed in Let's Touch, an EPA approved disinfectant, for at least 15 minutes.  My Reusable files are also scrubbed with Antibacterial Soap, then they are spritzed with Sanitizer and put aside to dry completely.  I dispose of any items, such as nail wipes and Orangewood sticks, that are not sanitizable; then clean & sweep the Pedicure chair Bathmat.  As for the Pedicure Tub, hot water is used to refill the tub and an EPA approved Disinfectant (OPI SpaComplete) is added.  The hot water and disinfectant run through the pedicure tub for about 20 minutes, then I use a sponge to physically scrub the whole chair.  I follow the State of NH Footspa Rules : http://www.nh.gov/cosmet/IP 12-08.pdf
